- Santa Detector- This amusing examination of the physics of Santa, and whether he exists, states that Santa Claus travels at an impossible pace: around 650 miles per second (that is, more than 3,000 times the speed of sound at or near sea level air pressures). - Safety champagne cork U.S Patent No. 4,474,302- While many people celebrate New Years' Eve by exploding champagne, this technology makes the holiday safer. The design contains a detachable safety closure mechanism to help address the problem of corks unexpectedly releasing too soon. With a variety of mobile and person-scaled celebratory devices, including a ball-dropper mounted on a hat and a ball-dropper mounted on sunglasses, US patent 8936503 has you covered.
